Jagota Presents Thailand's Oyster Shucking Championship 2025

Jagota Brothers Trading Co., Ltd. extends congratulations to all the winners of Thailand’s Oyster Shucking Championship 2025, held for the first time in Thailand at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok:

-1st Place: Ms. Sunanta Pholmuangsri, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park
-1st Runner-up: Mr. Amon Wongkalasin, Le Cabanon
-2nd Runner-up: Ms. Chutimon Pongpat, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit

The competition was a collaboration between Jagota Brothers Trading Co., Ltd., Geay, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, evian, and MrCru. The objective was to showcase and promote the visibility of Geay oysters, while elevating Thailand’s culinary skills to the next level on the international stage.

The competition showcased Geay oysters as the highlight ingredient across three challenges, with eight participants from leading hotels and restaurants, judged by the Escoffier jury along with Dave Vitré, Secrétaire Général du Syndicat des Écaillers, and Adrien Geay, Dirigeant of Geay. The champion, Ms. Sunanta Pholmuangsri, will represent Thailand at the World Oyster Shucking Championship in France on 24 October 2025.

Guests enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere with a buffet lunch, complemented by evian natural mineral water, both still and sparkling, together with a wide selection of alcoholic beverages from MrCru.
